A great interview ruined by traffic noise. A podcast episode with one guest far too quiet. Dialogue buried under hum, hiss, echo or a room that was never meant to be recorded in. If it can't be recorded again, it can often be repaired.

Send me the file and I'll tell you honestly what can be done before you commit to anything. Some problems vanish completely. Some can be eased rather than erased. You'll know which before you pay.

What I take on:
Background noise, hum and hiss. Echo and room sound. Uneven levels between speakers. Clipping and distortion. Plosives, clicks and mouth noise. General cleanup and polish for voice and music.

How it works: you send the audio, I assess it and quote, then return clean files to use, with an agreed number of revisions so we get it right.

Before: From The Bottom Of My Heart
Back in the 90’s I had a sound engineer try and edit out a really bad scratch on the original pressing (a 78 disk) of my late father’s song. However, it was still very evident. Gareth has now used his magic to make the scratch disappear. We are so delighted to finally listen to his music as it was intended. Priceless. Many thanks.

I had some very ‘messy’ audio files for a project for which I needed the background noise to be reduced. Gareth was very responsive and did an amazing job. The end result - which was delivered back in les than 24 hours - was far better than I expected. Extremely fair rates as well. I will be using again, for sure.
