a bit about the host...With Grade 8 on both the 'cello and piano, Gareth spent a lot of time playing with orchestras and vocal / instrumental groups growing up. After graduating from Kingston University in 1994 with a degree in Music Technology, he spent the next decade playing in rock bands around the London circuit. Following a few years of being a primary school teacher, he took the leap in 2011 and became a professional composer and audio producer.
Gareth has written soundtracks for commissioned animated series for TV, and music for use in ads and programming around the world. Through The Sound Boutique, he has also helped a wide variety of clients with their problem audio, and created & produced original audio content. |
